OHANA LUAU TOURNAMENT

This event promises a fun and competitive environment for water polo teams of all skill levels. Our tournament is designed to highlight teamwork, sportsmanship, and the fundamentals of the game, providing athletes with an excellent opportunity to develop their skills while enjoying the thrill of competition. It's also a fantastic introduction to water polo tournaments for new players!

Athlete Eligibility:

All participants must be registered members of USA Water Polo (USAWP) at a minimum Bronze level.

Age Groups:

Age is determined based on August 1st, 2024.

Please email us if you need exceptions for new athletes.



Tournament Rules:

• USAWP rules apply, with a few exceptions.
• The first team listed will wear white caps and sit to the left of the score table.
• Teams will switch ends at halftime, but not after each period.
• All breaks, including halftime, will last 2 minutes.
• Possession clocks are set to 30 seconds for all divisions.
• Quarters can be on running time if requested.
• A women's size ball will be used for the girls' divisions and 14U boys; size 3 balls for 12U.
• All games must have a winner; shootouts will follow regulation if necessary.

• Schedules will be released by Monday, October 14, 2024, for proofing.
• Final schedules will be posted on our website at www.ohanawpa.org under the Tournaments section.
• Please check in prior to all your matches for roster ID checks.
